Filter sock size?

I have the glass holes 1500 kit which has two 1-1/2" outlets. I have it hard plumed to the sump and wanted it to dump into filter socks. Should I have it dump into separate socks or both drains into same sock. Whichever ever option what size socks? I have seen 4" and 8" on brs. Would both drain outlets fit ok on the 4" sock if I needed to save room?

Any info would help and links would great too. Thanks

If you have 2 drains i would use 2 4" socks. That would be ideal. 2 drains into one sock will probably overflow the sock and you'll hear splashing into your sump.

dual socks are really nice but depend on the size (width) of the sump. Can you fit 2 x 7" socks?

My skimmer section 12x15. I have not ordered skimmer yet but thinking about aquamaxx. What would be the benefit of using two 7" socks if they could fit?

7" socks are a lot easier to turn inside out when it's time to clean. My 4"x14" ones are a pain to clean because of that. Other than that, 7" socks can handle a lot more flow (5000+gph), but that's a non-issue for many as even a 4"x8" sock can handle 1500gph.
