Skimmer Trouble

Hi All,

Recently I had to replace the impeller on my Reef Octopus skimmer. Ever since then it has gone through almost a break in period. It is overflowing in the sump and producing alot of micro bubbles. It is the correct replacement impeller.

Also it has been off, and the tank has been un-skimmed for about a week (while waiting for the impeller to arrive)

Anyone have anything similar happen to them or any thoughts?

Thanks Nick

My skimmer went down for a few days and I played and played and played with the stupid thing for days. I had accidently dropped the air intake line for the venturi and something got stuck in there . I cleaned out the venturi really well and boom after a couple of hours it was up again.
