Please give us an update after a week or so. The ones I have in holes all seem to come back.

You have to be able to really get the entire anemone or it will grow back. The Majano Wand works well if you can get the entire anemone. I want one with a much shorter handle so I can move it around better in the tank. I don't mind getting my hand and arm wet if I can get the tip of the wand in there and do a better job of getting the entire anemone.
BTW, I'm the guy who introduced the 1W Survival laser for killing aiptasia and it has the exact same problem and costs twice as much.

The problem I have with the Wand is that most of the aiptasia I need to zap are on the sides of the rocks. I can't get the probe into the hole in the rock the aiptasia retreats into, and trying to hit it with the side of the probe is ineffective.
Since the Wand is basically ineffective for me as it is, I'm thinking about trying to gently heat the acrylic rod and bend it so that the probe is at an angle that will allow me to attack aiptasia attached to the sides of the rocks.

I has the best success with Red Sea Aiptasia-X but I had to buy the pricey large refill bottle and I still have to battle them weekly.
