iPhone, Airport base station, and Apex HELP
I just purchased two netgear wnce2001 wireless adapters and want to get them to work with my airport express base station (router), which is also new, and my Apex and Apex jr. I do not believe my airport has WPS so I setup the adapters by turning off my wireless and plugging the adapters into the computer through Ethernet cable. After it finished I plugged the Ethernet cable into my aquacontroller. I opened the iPhone app and searched for the apex, which it found, But that's it. It will not do anything else.
PLEASE HELP, Thank you Steve |

Had a similar problem when I switched from my DLink router to my airport extreme. What I did was took my wnce2001 and had to reset it up through my computer so it stopped looking for a 198.0.. Ip address and rather the 10.0... Ip address. After it was set up I placed it to the side still powered on next to my controller just disconnected from my laptop. Then I broke out my 25' CAT5 and hooked it from router to the apex. Went into the settings on the display and made sure my DHCP was on. Unplugged the apex aquabus from the EB8 allowing it to power off, then plugging it back in. Recheck that the ip address on it has changed to a 10.0.... Ip address. Unplug the cat5 from the router and then plug in the cat5 from the game bridge. Delete out the saved "Apex" on the app and search for a new one. And it should work out.
