Is this crab a good one?
Hello everyone,
I saw this crab hiding in one of my stony corals. Is i took her out of the tank as i am not sure if it safe or not. Do you have any idea? Thanks for the help. Best regards, Dino

She'd definitely be safe in your sump, and live a long and useful life.
Look up 'mithrax' crab and see if that is close. Mithrax species are milder than most.

Kinda does look like a ruby emerald crab (the mithrix) I've got the green version hanging out in my 26 totally docile! And takes out algae like a champ!!!

Safe in your sump: there's theoretically nothing down there that you paid 30.00 for that it might eat. The food chain in your display tank should involve only algae.

This is a Tetralia cavimana. One of most desirable crab you will be able find for the acro. This particular species is among the most aggressive in defending the host colony.
