14G BioCube owner with questions!
Hi all, I have been caring for this 14 gallon biocube for about 4 months now, it was a show tank from a store and that had been running for a few years with minimal problems. There's a few things I want to do in this tank to promote coral growth and make it more esthetically pleasing.
I have two major questions: 1) target feeding my corals, I have a BIG zoe rock and a duncan. Is it pointless to target feed in such a small tank? 2) I want to get a LED kit to replace the compact florescent bulbs, is there any chance of socking my system if the change in light intensities is too drastic? I looking at this 14 LED upgrade http://www.aquastyleonline.com/produ...mable-Kit.html |

that's actually quite a bit of light for a 14g cube... I'd definitely run with no optics and slowly ramp up the lights...
I have LED's on my 29 gallon biocube, love it and my coral growth is the best I've ever seen. One of my acro's is growing about 1/4-1/2" per month |
