Six Line Wrasse Might Be Sick?
Hey guys, I noticed late last night that my 6 line wrasse has something on his right side on the tail. It looks to be some sort of pink, fleshy, scab. Here are some pictures I tried to get
IMAG0332.jpg IMAG0333.jpg IMAG0334.jpg IMAG0335.jpg He is being housed with A Pygmy Angelfish, 2 Cleaner shrimp, a Blue Leg Hermit Crab, and A Left Handed Hermit Crab (also a few corals). Is it possible that the Pygmy is messing with him? He has no strange behaviors at all. He's eating and swimming just fine, and he seems healthy. If anyone could help me identify what this is, and tell me how I could treat it, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance |

Those six line are the hardest fish to get a good pic, they are fast! lol
The six line is tough, I have one for 2year +, some time it get hit or bite by other fish and hurt himself (stubborn little dude). He often go on the down low and get back to health. The protocol is to get them out to a qt and give them some sort of copper base med, I find it hard to take fish out, it give them so much stress that actually can kill him, so more bad than good there. You can also get it out using a fish trap, you can search on dose. For qt tank is very important to have same temp and acclimate him properly. search on qt tanks for proper setup. I only take them out when they are not swimming correctly or not eating...My humble opinion good luck.
