long white stringy things on live rock, what is it?
i have a bunch of this stuff growing on live rock, what is this stuff? its just long white strings. i looked at spaghetti worms but they have a "body" and I dont see anything of the sort... just a bunch of random strings coming out of the rock

if so... i'm getting ready to sell my live rock, should i get rid of it first (i know its not a bad thing to have, but may deter buyers). if so, how do I get rid of it?

Can you post a better picture? It looks to me like a sponge which would be very beneficial. If you bump them do they retract or stay in place? Is any movement you see just caused by water motion or do you see them moving against the current?

yes, looks to me like sponge growth as well
easy way to tell, ... do they ever move and retract to where you can no longer see them? if they are always still and there all the time, definitely sponges
