Acrylic Suppliers
Was considering building an acrylic frag tank myself. Looking for suppliers in the reading/Lancaster pa area or online. Can anyone point me to good resources on actually building a tank.

I don't recommend building your own tank unless it's a very small custom size, but you can get acrylic sheets from someplace like Tap-Plastics or McMaster-Carr is an online distributor that has acrylic sheets.
http://www.tapplastics.com/product/p...eets_clear/508 http://www.mcmaster.com/#acrylic-sheets/=nkc49i I don't think you will save much money building your own, and the risk is a lot higher so I don't think it's a good idea unless you have a really good reason. There are also some vendors that will make you a custom size if you just want something to fit a particular space. *edit: Apparently TAP-plastics is mostly just in CA, so I don't think it will help you so much. Maybe just try a yp.com search near you: http://www.yellowpages.com/reading-p...acrylic+sheets |
