There is a club in Melbourne, I think there called space coast reefers. http://spacecoastreefclub.com
There are also two clubs in Orlando, if your willing to make the hour drive. FRAG - http://floridareefaquariumgroup.com ORCA - http://o-r-c-a.org I would stay away from NSW unless you have the means to get away from the coastline, IMO. You can collect inverts though, you need a recreation fishing license, and there are limits to what and how much you can collect, so do your research.
