Stacking live rock
I'd like to move my live rock off of the back wall of my tank into the middle so I can get some flow through it. What's the best way I can stack it on a bare bottom tank so it doesn't shift?
Thanks!

Short of drilling holes into the rock and running something through the holes to hold them in place, it's mostly a balancing act.

Drilling holes and running acrylic rods and there is also a cement that is used to bond the rocks. I just make sure that the pieces fit together nicely and are very stable. I have contemplated using coral putty as almost a spot weld in a few places.

Try the reef safe putty if you're only gluing in a few rocks.
