A good combo for 4t5s and MH
I'm just looking for some advice on a good bulb combo. I'm running 4 24w actinic and a 15000k 250 MH. I was lookin into ati t5s. Maybe three superblue and one purple? Any suggestions would greatly help. It's siting atop a 29 gallon tall tank. Some coral. Still new to this hobby. Thanks in advance.

The fixture hardware is preset to theose wattages, so you have to go with them. I use 10K MH (XM DE) together with ATI True actinic T5's in my fixture (see sig). I don't mix and match the T5's. The 10K mH and actinic T5's combo gives me a nice bright sunlight ambiance. I tried a 14K MH, but that came out too blue with the actinic T5's. Unless you like it blue.

I like the blue but I want a crisp color. I have some red and green polyps and some richordieas that I want to make pop. Been reading that the ati coral an purple plus do that? Anyone use them out there? I have a 15k MH and 4 actinic in the fixture and I want brighter/crisper looking light? And thanks for the info.
