Question Coral Banded Shrimp or Arrow Crab?

Very interested in both of these inverts but I heard they are not a good combination, but I've also seen videos in which the two get along very well, should I risk getting both or just one if so which?

Might depend on the size of tank. I've had arrow crabs in the past and they have never bothered anyone in my tank (75g mixed) but I've never had a CBS. I know some CBS are more aggressive than others so there might be some (I think gold banded are more docile?) that are better suited. But if the tank is small chances are it won't work because the arrow crabs get a pretty decent size.

I wouldn't put them in the same tank. IME they do NOT get along well. Both can be aggressive and may go after smaller fish during the "night time" hours. The Arrow crabs tend to be out and about more. I've found the CB shrimp tend to hide a lot as they get bigger.

Shifting towards arrow crab

Hey thanks I think I might go for an arrow crab as long as they are not too aggressive

I'm not positive but I think I have heard that the female's are less aggressive and stay smaller. I never had any aggression issues with mine and they were in with multiple fish that 'slept' in the rocks and they never touched them.
