new setup 57 gal

57 gal rimless with a custom lid
well this is my first big tank othere thank 24 gal nano
not sure how i want to set the sump up mud system,live rock,ect im still learing how it works ,its my first sump!!!! or what it can do
i want a reef/ fish tank,,,,,zoas ,,clowns,,shrimp, yellow tang,, ect
right now i got a ton of bubbles coming in the intake side the blue flex hose, is this normal??? should it be pointing stright down??? or is it good like it sets,,,, see pic;s would filter sock help,, im just trying to find the best spot i did some test by holding it in diffrent spots i think it works better how i have it in the pic but just getting some ideas

The hose into the sump has bubble coming out of it? This is the drain? I wouldn't care about bubbles in the sump. You have a bubble trap in the sump so they don't come up into the DT.
