catastrophe
I came home from a short out of town (36 hrs) trip finding when I get home I dont see any lights on. Get in and find out that the hose off the main pump came off hit the refugium light popping a breaker. Temp 73 degrees and all fish are dead, 3 sps rtn. So Ive only lost 4 corals including Xenia. Did a immediate 25 gal water change and brought the temp back up. Now all corals doing well. Replaced all fish added some lyretail anthias two dot tang, mystery wrasse, yellow belly tang, yellow tang, blue spot jaw fish. Now added the battery back ups on my mp40/mp10. Live and learn right.

that stinks, maybe the aquarium gods didnt want you to have xenia in the tank . hehe
but yeah it seems everytime i go out of town, even for 36 hrs something decides to malfunction. also hooking up an apex to be wireless will give you access to your tank wherever you are and you would have gotten an email or alert when that stuff happens.
