Dosing Pump Schedule?

I have a 140 gallon tank with sump and just installed 2 BRS dosing pumps with my apex. I plan on dosing ca / kh.

How much should I be dosing? I was thinking 30ml a day?

What's the best way to setup the dosing schedule?

3 times a day? 7 times a day? 11 times a day?

I found a calculator to show me how to calculate my doses. I am just wondering what's the best way to dose?

It really depends on what you are losing per day consistently but you can get more help with test results of calcium and alkalinity over time and posting this in the equipment forum and/or reef chemistry forum

This is what I did. Measure your parameters a week apart and use the BRS calculator to see how much of each two part solution it would take to correct back to baseline and divide by 7 (or however many days between testing) and that would be a good starting point. Repeated testing will tell you whether to increase or decrease.

Those pumps are not meant to run very long. Frequent short doses is better than a few large ones both for the pump and for tank stability.
