Cuc

I know this has been discussed before but what suggestions would you have for a Cuc for a biocube? Anyone use a pack from live aquaria? Been having trouble with film algae. Just can clean the corners of the tank well. Suggestions.

Try reefcleaners. I personally think nerites, dwarf ceriths, and ceriths would be the best. Maybe some nassarius for the sandbed.

How much deeper would the ocean be if it didn't have sponges?

Manual labor is probably your best bet IMO. Being able to keep a happy healthy reef tank with the LEAST amount of janitors is really what you want. GL.
