trying to find a timer
I bought the two little fishes Kalk reactor and it says to have the reactor on a timer with one minute on and one minute off... i cant find a timer that has intervals that small... does anyone know of any out there?

Most digital timers can do 1 min. I got mine from home depot

i have a digital one but it can only do 6 different time spots

Mine goes up to 18 but you wont find one that will be able to turn it on and off every min for 24 hours

i dont get how they want to have this thing work then.... the instructions say have it on 1 minute then off for a minute.... unless you have a controller this thing sucks

Yeah that dont make any sense. I would just use your timer and have it run for 1 min spread out to 6 times a day and see how that works. My diy kalk reactor only turns on 4 times a day for 1 min and it has been working fine this way for 6 months.

Have you given any thought to asking the manufacturer what they think? Two Little Fishes is a pretty reputable company. I'd bet if you called or emailed them and asked your question, they'd give you an answer and then you could share it with us.
