id please
I have 2 differant growths I would like ided please. I bought a a small frag a couple of months ago that was on a rock. Recently these 2 things have started to grow. One may be a glass anemone the other is flat with small polyp type things around edge. I have cut the rock in half and moved these two to the bottom of tank. Thx

Correct on the Glass anemone or it's aptasia.
The other is hard to tell.

I had a lot of aiptasia on my rock, i've been using aiptasia x, if you follow the instructions and start squeezing before you touch the anemone, they actually stay open and "eat" all of it, i've had good luck so far, haven't seen one in months (knock on wood)

I have had good luck getting rid of aptasia with peppermint shrimp, they are fun to watch and seem to enjoy eating them. Or at least I enjoy them. Depends on the tank mates you have though. I hear hot water squirted in the Center works too but if you have a bunch can be time consuming. The other is hard to tell in the pic, it kind looks like a mushroom or sponge but again I can't see it very well.

+1 on the peppermints, I've even seen a coral banded eat them.
I have a slight aiptasia problem but they dont seem to be causing too much of a problem. I know everyone says they are terrible. but whatevs |
