Rearranging rockscape

Is there any danger in redoing the rockscape in a reef tank? I built it will alot of swim through areas and basically used to much rock. From looking at all the pics on here I think the less is more approach looks better.

Is there any danger to my coral or my fish by rearranging it?

I'd say not at all.

If you are going to rearrange, try taking a small pump and putting it down in a pile of rocks. Then build the rock work up to hide the wire while allowing for open channels for the water to flow to and from the pump.

I feel that many times we forget about the water volumes deep in the rock work and it ends up getting poor circulation.

True but if the flow through is poor the rock structure become a clogged pile and creates a nutrient mass load up the sump with extra rock

The sump is already full of all kinds of rock. I have had the tank setup and running for about 6 to 8 weeks, It was a full system that I moved and set back up with new sand and new water.

I have had no ammonia spikes or nitrite and the nitrate level is almost unreadable. Right at zero.
