Unhappy Clown fish missing!

Came home last night from work and I always check the tank and everybody was there ( only have 2 clownfish and CUC) woke up this morning I find the smaller of the two clowns missing?! No idea where he is... Checked the rock work and didn't see him. I have a 30g nuvo AIO so not many places too hide. I checked my back compartments and nothing! I have no idea what Happened.. 😔

Tops on the tank? Carpet surfing?

How are overflows? Is it possible it is in the piping?

if I'm correct (based on your past posts), your tank is a month old, you introduced your clowns to the tank 6 days ago and they weren't eating when you got them.
Your water recently became cloudy and smells and you placed carbon in your rear sump without thoroughly rinsing it....

If you don't find it somewhere, I would say there's a good chance the clown was not in the best of health when you bought it and with an unestablished tank and carbon dust in the water, it likely died...

Your CUC likely may have made quick work of the body presuming your CUC consists of crabs and nassarius snails...

sorry for your loss

The water cleared up real nice today...and I found him... I had my nephew look in the back for me In Case I missed him and he found him. He must of passed last night and went thru overlow and sunk to the bottom. I'm vertically challenged lol. I bought those two guys from Petco.. Not going to do that again. The other guy is still kicking so I going to keep my eye on him just in case.
