Stocking questions
Hello all,
Quick question on stocking. First a simple rundown of where I am. Tank started last November. It's a RSM 130 with a few upgrades. I inherited two false Percs with the tank which I believed to be 2-3 years old. I first added a yellow clown goby and he is doing fine. I had a six line wrasse and he was fine but then one day after a month or two it disappeared. So I left the stocking with the two clowns and the YWG. I have had major bryopsis issues. Then when that was over I had major cyano issues. Everything was great a few months ago so I decided it was time to restock. I added some frags and a few fish over a few weeks. I added a royal gamma and a fairy wrasse. They seemed to be doing great then the wrasse disappeared, then a few days later the gamma. Shortly after my plate coral started to die. Then randomly one of the clowns(smaller one) died. I found the body but not sure what happened. Two months later The rest of the coral is doing great and so is the big clown and YWG. Also have a cleaner and carribian pistol shrimp that are good. Question is can I add another clown? Smaller one? The big clown has always been kinda aggressive to the smaller clown(I read that was normal) and was always mean to the new fish for a few days but then I never saw any other aggression. She sometimes nips at me if I go to move a frag. Not sure if I should add a new clown or maybe rehome the big one and buy two new ones. I would also like to add new fish down the line hopefully another royal gamma and another small wrasse if possible. Thanks in advance |

Yes you can try and add another smaller clown. Just turn off the lights while adding the fish and try to keep them off until the next day to keep everyone settled down.
