Is there any other RO/DI as good as this one for less money?

http://www.airwaterice.com/product/1...TDS-Meter.html

Getting with DI bypass so i can have fresh RO drinking water.

Just wondering if there is anything similar to this for a better price?

I know we get 10% off the price.. i sent them an email a week ago and no reply yet i do not need the TDS meter already have one.

Check out ebay. There are tons of rodi options for all different prices. Just pick the setup that best suits your needs based on functionality, components, and price. I got mine from eBay and couldn't be happier. It took some searching but I found a very good deal on one that suited my needs.

The one component you don't want to go cheap on is the actual RO membrane, get a quality US made one. The rest of the parts don't matter much.

talk to russ at buckeyefieldsupply.com and he can set you up with what you need at a great price.

also you want a unit that has verticle DI as the horazontal ones are less effecient.

BulkReefSupply has their 5-stage Plus for $20 off right now: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-5-...tem-75gpd.html. A lot of people will vouch for their units, myself included.

I need one with a DI Bypass so i can just get RO water out for drinking.

Then be able to turn the DI back on for my tanks.

I have a 20g 55g and a 200g.

For drinking water be sure to install a backflow preventer so DI water doesn't back up into the drinking water and you will want a pressure tank to store RO water or you will only get a slow trickle. The pressure tank needs to be shut off when you make DI water however or you will blow water through the DI canister too quickly.

It is stripped of all ions and minerals so it is claimed that is that the water will pull it from your body and possibly lead to an electrolyte imbalance. I call phooey on that, since there are far more minerals in the food we eat than is found in the water.

I would still drink just the RO water, the DI may not taste as good.

I drank some of my DI water and I didn't think it tasted bad...it just tasted like nothing. Minerals add what we perceive as flavor to the water.

I was told that DI water was so pure that it can cause Organ failure.

Even an If or maybe my 3 yearold's Safety is my top concern.
