old Jebao controller vs. new

what is the difference between the two controllers? I have one of each

I know the old one is:
W1= wave 1 pattern
W2=wave 2 pattern
W3= wave 3 pattern
ELSE= random flow

High and low.

With the new controller what are the S modes

so it only reduces the power in the W1 setting? I run mine in else mode and would like ot try and slow it down a little to reduce the sandstorm.

correct, it will only adjust the wave power not else mode. if you wanna adjust the else mode you will need to buy a 3rd party controller like the apex or reef angel, or get the led dimmer switch (like what is posted in the wp threads) to switch the power
