Diy newbie

So I started my 90 gallon tank up a couple months ago compliments of a customer of mine in the marine yachting industry. I was doing a service call and a guy had no use for his 90 overflow tank, stand, and canopy he had just sitting outside under the garage awning. so he offered it to me for free...

Unaware of the nature and $ extent of this hobby I said hell yeah! So ive done quite a bit of research and i have decided to go all in.

I have carefully added some neat LR and changed the free wet/dry filter to a refugium.

I found a used eshopps r 200 used for $150 and quickly began modifying stand to fit. everything is soft plumbed, have a 9.5 mag return. Skimmer is Cad Lights tia 1150 which btw is a kick butt skimmer! I have angel hair, calaurpa, sea lettuce, and cheato growing there although cheato isnt doing well. Even tho I want to remove all but cheato I dont know What I should do to kick start it. I will be posting pics soon!
