Check out the filter guys. Shoot them an email, they are very helpful guys. They got all sizes and reasonably priced. I have had one from them for a little over a year now.

3 is good enough... replacing the filters is expensive so I wouldn't get too crazy. I mainly go with what works, and what works fast. The reserve tank on mine is handy in the event I have to quickly get water for a water change and don't have time to fill up a bucket throughout the night.

Also it comes with an indicator to let me know when to change the filters.

is that your tank or fresh saltwater?

Also, what is your SG and temp?

If thats newly mixed then it's fine. I would let it reach the right temp before use.

Does anyone know where I could find a 3/8" bulkhead fitting. I've spent the day calling all the local aquarium shops and marine supply stores. A few have offered to get it for Monday, but whose got time for that?
