Couple of pics for the update.
Corals opened a bit more, hopefully they will take a couple of days more to fully open and also a full tank shot.

Not sure if I just got lucky or what, since it is my first coral, but the mushroom I bought on Monday opened after only about an hour in the tank.

it depends, they can be picky and everyone's setup is diffrent. usually it shouldn't take more than a few days for them to open.
I do know they are indistructable, a few years ago my tank was over ran with shrooms so I took 1 shroom and tank water and put it to a blender, short story, all the chopped up bits grew to full size shrooms in a couple months.

take a syringe with peroxide and inject the bubbles, that will kill them off. as for bursting them you will see people say not to and other say it don't matter. I am with the group that doesn't care if they get popped, they don't send spores out like most think as all that is inside the bubble is water. but this is my opinion

So you are telling me to use a needle syringe containing hydrogen peroxide and inject a couple of drops in it. then leave it. is it like that?

Man, I feel your pain. Mushrooms are easy to keep once they go but I find them to be quite picky about where they will do it. Try testing some of your LFS water with your equipment and see whats notoriously different with your tank. Check salinity and phosphates and get a second opinion on both. I think that should be a good place to start. I have seen and heard that mushrooms are particular about both of those measures and not precisely like 0 on Phosphates...
Good luck with things |

Thanks. I will ask my lfs to help me out in this.
But is it anything related with the lights. i mean i have only 1no. 24 watts 12000k t5 rest all are purple and blue on my 20 galllon so watts per gallon is less. Should i increase 1 more t5 to make it 48 watts. Plus my blue light is 6500k. Do i also replace my old blue light 6500k with 12000k blue light. Current Lights : 1 white t5 12000k 24 watt 1 blue t5 15 watt(Local) 2 t8 philips aqua coral 20watt x 2 = 40 watt 1 led warm white in middle 3 watt (Not using)

I have those shrooms. They flourish in dead/no flow zones. I had 3 koralias blowin all directions and now I have to move my shrooms in a corner because they weren't opening as much. Moving em around and finding a sweet dead spot with no flow should help.

Surprise...
I got a tingling light electric shock on naked feet today by touching the water. After checking everything....my chiller wire cord came out as culprit(no earthing/grounding in the plug). Will be replaced tonight. Till then i have closed my chiller for some hours. You learn something new everyday. I doubt that corals might be getting some shocks so were not opening. Anyways last night i kept my coral under a 3watt warm white led light in the same tank it opened it a bit more. Might needs more light and lets see what it does without shocks. Do corals/fishes get electric shocks in water?

Got it fixed by my electrician. He just attached 1 wire with other and said earthing is done.
Bingo no more electric shocks in my water. I will wait for another week for the corals to open.

Try moving them somewhere else in your tank. I'd move them to the sandbed in the corner. Watch them for a few days and see what they do. Just a hunch.
