Help is he going ro die?

Does it look like my anemone is going to die? Ive only had the bubble tip for 2 weeks . All my water parameters are perfect except for ca being 500ppm. I recently had to move him from his previous resting place due to the fear of him being sucked into the overflow.

It's hard to say. How new is your tank? Anemones are finicky. Keep an eye on it. Keep feeding it. If it stops eating or begins to melt, I'd remove it.

They tend to be moody (for creatures with no brians). Unless it's falling apart, I'd just leave it be.

Unfortunatly it looks to me like it is "bleached". It needs some good care.

Specs on your tank? Perfect doesn't tell us anything...

Feed it every couple days with a piece of krill until it turns a darker green.

Bleaching is from improper lighting or parameters.

It looks mad, but its not necessarily on its death bed.

"All my water parameters are perfect except for ca being 500ppm"

'perfect'?

how can anyone know what that means? w/out numbers, actual numbers, your statement means nothing. what are the actual parameters?

If it was fine before you moved it, then that might be the problem. If it doesn't like where it is, let it move on its's own. Don't touch it for a few days.

Ok sorry for not updating sooner and being more specific to the water chemistry. All tests showed 0 ppm on ammonia ,nitrate and nitrite, no phosphates and alk at 11dka. Yes the anemone was doing fine before the move in the tank. I did move him to a better lit part of the tank but I moved him deeper in the tank as well. he finally quit responding to my clowns and his mouth started to open up. So , I flushed him. I didnt want to take a chance on poisoning the tank. I'm very confused as to what went wrong. I'm running 2 -144 w led fixtures with 50/50 blue/white and 2-20w uv LEDs

Thanks for asking a question and completely ignoring our responses.

An open mouth means nothing. Good luck.

I know one thing...... give me some slack, sorry if I dont stay glued to the forum to check responses. . I asked a question because I needed some help not to get a smart remark.like I said the anemone wasn't responding to being touched by the clown fish and even by me when I picked it up from the tank. Thanks everyone for the help.

I am sorry for your loss but in the future please be more patient and at least check up on your question or seek additional advice. A bta will not poison your tank if it dies. They turn to jello and you suck them out with a hose. Granted it will produce ammonia but by that time you will know its dead. They can look terrible, stop responding, and still recover fully.

My comment wasn't meant to be smart, it was simply a reaction to what is perceived as the OP ignoring replies and continuing on without the help of others. It happens a lot around here and its frustrating for everyone.
