Starting over
Hello all
I am starting up a new 400 gal reef tank. I have been out of the hobby for about 10 years. I can use a little help and information. A lot has changed over the past 10 years. I would like to know some opinions on an ozone reactors, calcium reactors .Are they necessary to the tank or are there better options. I am looking to keep some soft and hard corals. Also has any one had experienced buying live rock from the Florida to live rock sites. |

For the live rock, check http://www.tampabaysaltwater.com/. I don't get paid by them so please excuse me if this link shouldn't be here although I'm pretty sure they are sponsors.
If you decide to go with dry rock, make sure to give it an acid bath. Look this up in the forum for the appropriate way to do this. I don't particularly think ozone reactors are very 'standard' nowadays but the calcium reactors are definitely widely used for a tank your size. I hope this helps... |
