First sps coral and new powerhead into tank = a good day :-)
My 90 gallon reef has been going well for almost a year. It has a nice mix of soft and pls corals...zoos, frogspawn, Duncan's, flowerpot, chili coral, and a nice clam. However, I've always wanted to try sps corals. Well, after feeling that the tank was doing well for a while, I finally took the plunge. I added a beautiful orange setosa montipora coral today. I also replaced the koralia 1400 powerhead that was opposite my vortech mp10 with an mp40. So, now two vortechs and pretty new color. Can't wait to see how it does :-)

Congrats. You will love both. My monti has grown very well and is one of the more durable SPS. Should do well for you! Love my MP-10 as well.
