Hermit crab has Xenia growing on its shell.
I was watching the tank today and I noticed a piece of Xenia moving. I moved in to get a closer look and sure enough, it was a hermit crab and on its shell was a small piece of Xenia. I'm guessing the shell was sitting next to the Xenia and it branched off. Should I try to remove this and frag it? It's probably smaller than a dime. I'll try to post pics. My hermit crab is now my decorator crab. Happy thanksgiving everyone!!!

That sounds cute. I'd leave it. You can chop it off later if it gets too big for the crab to handle.
