aiptasia?
i have two of these in my tank I noticed one of them has moved. is this an aiptasia? also you guys notice how my clown has a black stripe on his tail well that use to be white and has recently changed is that normal?

That is a Mojano Anemone. They are considered pests by most hobbyists.

I don't see any mojano in this picture - That big brown thing certainly looks like the base of an aptasia to me

Very center of the image.... Looks like mojano

I could be wrong, but the small anemone in the center of the picture looks like a Mojano. As for the other thing being Aiptasia, I think that would be the biggest Aiptasia I've ever seen. Look at it in comparison to the size of the clown.

It's totally normal for them to change color as they get older. I wish I had a before and now picture of Clyde. He looks like a totally different clownfish. I might have some that I can dig up tomorrow. I wouldn't worry.

Here you go jrozzi. I only have one of the clowns now because the female died of some unknown illness even after 6 weeks of QT. Swimming well and eating one minute, dead the next with no explanation.
