I am in REEF heaven, just got lucky

I stopped in to petco just on a feeling. i went and got an oops bag of aragonite dead sand. 10lbs for $5, right? what, what? I came up to the counter and asked, well, yeah, I dont' think it's a whole 10lbs. So what does the hot guy cashier tell me? Check that bin right there.
OMFG!!!! 20lb bags of CaribSea Alive for a whopping $2. I actually got 60lbs for 6$.... I'm sorry all of my reef friends, but I couldn't pass that up. I also took all of their dry sand, getting it for $2 for 10 lbs. I need more, and haven't set my large tank up yet. If I knew about this ahead of time I'd of let you all know. I think it was meant to be. I've never come across this before, and i've registered azreefgirl.com just for my husband, now I think I might have a fun thing to post~~

Much better. I had to post from my Windows machine. The MAC OS put it upside down. That's one for the record books. I have no idea why, and I'm a computer person, lol.

Amazing job. I have never been able to keep the water in with the tank upside down.

What I really meant was, "Great find and very cool..."

Nothing better than sharing your good fortune with complete strangers and getting their glowing admiration for your good fortune...

I do it all the time

It was completely random.... I think they got a pallet of several damaged bags, and threw the dirty ones in the clearance bin. I'm going to make a habit of going over there at least once a week from now on. =)
....water stays in, maybe it's cause there's no fish yet, lmfao
