Chemiclean amazing
Well some have asked ask to the dosing method I used fro chemiclean. The reason was that my RO?DI membrane became loose and i did my last water change with like 80 TDS water by mistake and after about a week i got the cyano slowly creeping in so i did another WC then waited and
After researching it for like a week ( I'm fairly skeptical in nature and hate using chemicals) i finally went ahead and dosed the Chemiclean I followed the directions -Turned off skimmer -Tested water levels (for my own piece of mind) -added airstone bubbler to display back corner some of bubbles went to mp10 fish didn't seem to mind - took Carbon reactor offline - Mixed 1 scoop of chemiclean to 10 gallons water so I dosed 15 level scoops mixed it in tank water and turkey based it into display event throughout ...waited Nothing happened for a day no fish seemed different so corals sucked in or anything, i continued to feed and do what i do, The night of the first day after dosing i was starting to notice the cyano patches starting to float to the top and i was scoop them out as they came. By the 2nd morning all the cyano was gone, i mean gone none on the rock or sand or anything gone. Fired up my skimmer and it overflowed for a while but all is well. Only ill effects i have had was 1 zoo colony closed up during the second day and it just opened so idk Doing a 25% water change today and adding carbon back that will give it just over 48Hr to work and i took the airstone out and yea No fish worried, No corals worried, Pods were still alive and a ton of them in the fuge, all inverts fine and no ill effects
