1st Sump Feedback
Hey guys,
I've been working on building my first 60g tall reef tank, and I finally have the some of the equipment laid out. I just wanted to get some feedback on what/if anything I need to take a look at and rethink before I actually start running my system. Currently in my Eshopps RS100 I have the included filter sock, the Reef Octopus NWB110 Protein Skimmer, a Finnex 200w titanium heater, Magdrive 7 return pump, and a Deluxe Carbon/GFO reactor from BRS that i have placed outside of the sump to save space. It is powered by the Cobalt MJ1200 pump that is mounted via suction cups to to the sump wall behind the protein skimmer. I do plan on adding an ATO system after my Neptune Apex Controller comes. Anyways I'm just looking for some general feedback on what I have going so far. Thanks in advance. |

Looks super good I would make some diy socks there's plenty of guides online. Either that or buy plenty of spares so you can keep them clean with minimal effort. They can become nitrate factories without upkeep. Other than that looks great.

I'd go with two heaters vs 1. Even with the Apex controlling. If one fails you still have some capacity to heat the tank.
