Thanks everyone yeah I have all the tools that's deffinitly not a issue haha I have wood lathes saws band saws hand saws you name it haha drills and levels everything underrt he sun haha my father does wood working for a hobby also machining with metal work for a hobby as well haha so tools ability and talent and years of experience are no problem there you all have me very convinced to do my own stand build now with many ideas can't wait to start the build ahhhh so excited it's better then Christmas haha this hobby always keeps me wanting more and more already told my second hlf when house buying comes around we are basing the house off the basement so I can turn it into a giant aquarium space and she has agreed I think she's a keeper. That is untill she sees her brand new house a mess with everything in the basement being built but until then this 75 gallon stand build will keep me busy for a while.

The key is if you have the "skill" to build one. Tools alone won't result in a great looking stand. Skill comes from experience. Only you can answer the question if you have the skill to build a great stand on first try. The stand is something everyone will see. If you know you have the skill to build one and will not look ugly as heck, then it will be cheaper. Otherwise, it will cost you more if you build one and does not work out and you end up buying one. good luck.

thanks everyone like i said ill keep you posted hopefully ill be posting pics the week after christmas and during ill post my thread link for the build on here if you like to follow. thanks everyone for the support its nice having the ability to share with people who enjoy the same hobby since none of my friends of family do only my neighbor who is nice enough to give me free stuff lol i love generous neighbors
