75 gallon thinking of using two reef breeders value led lighting

I have a 75 gallon tank build I'm in the middle of and I was planning on using dual reef breeders value led systems one for each side of the brace in the tank. Is this a good system for the value ? Or is there better yes or no I'm on a limited budget 400 is about my limit I know it sucks but We all have tow tart some where right ?

any opinions are greatly welcomed due to the fact I'm still a rookie to the hobby. Thanks again

I have have two of the proton 24's over my 75 and they are great

It's Photon24 and for your tank you should just get a photon 48 not 2 24's. It's way cheaper or you can use a 32 if you aren't doing any high light stuff like sps.

What's better about the photon systems compared to the value system ?

As far as I know just the controller, but I could be wrong. Plus with a 4' tank you can use 1 fixture instead of 2. To me it just looks nicer.

Now what about growth and par and all that **** everything else the same. And what's the best optic choice 180 ?

The par should be the same since its basically 2 24's in one case. 90 deg optics

The photon32 and the value fixture put out very close to the same par. I know because I have both and a par meter. The 24 will put out less par because it has almost half as many leds. The main difference that is a killer is the controller. Understand this value fixture can only be dimmed manually. The photons allow you to ramp up the intensity slow in one hour or half hour incriments, even to as little as 1%....

Whichever you go with start low and increase over several months or you will have lots of white coral. Either of those fixtures will be capable of 600 par in a 75g near the bottom, esp with any optics. I took the optics off my 32's and I got much better spread and more even par readings. I had 90s on them and I'm lighting a 200g DD tank with 2 photon32s. After over 2 months, I'm still only up to 60 percent intensity. I been jumping by 5 percent but i notice a big diff in some higher up sps when I bump that intensity.

I'd also suggest replacing a couple whites, with 2 greens and 2 reds on each side of the tank.

Well if they are pretty much the same ill just go with two value lights then cause it'll only be 360 dollars instead of 500 and I like the look of the two lights hanging over the tank. Since ill get the same par reading for almost 200 dollars less ill live with manually adjusting the intensity.

sorry I am just getting back into the hobby and i have been pulling my hair out about the led lights its the only thing i have left to buy i started a 55 gal gong to be a reef tank now with these lights say i would get the 48 in light would the watts be to low
