Im google says their reef safe. I got a small Zoa frag from my LFS and this was on it along with some Stomatella snails I thought were nudis.

I have lots of these guys in my tanks. They're great! Lift up a piece of rock and five of these guys go running. :-)

I know somethings are and aren't safe so had me a little worried. Im glad it ssomething the kids have been wanting.

What about this guy? Looks like a starfish with 3 sides. It only moved a little so far. It's right next to the polyp and is a white pinkish color.

Astrenia are not pest in my opinion, certain species are said to eat corals, but I have not experienced it.
I have tons in my tank and all my sps and lps look great.

i also have hundreds if not thousands of both kinds of starfish talked about above in my tanks and they are not considered pets at all to me, since they dont harm any coral what so ever.
