Reef Octo NWB150

Need to pick yalls brain this morning. I have noticed a noise coming from my sump that has gradually gotten louder. This morning I decided to try and pin point where it was coming from. I thought it was my return pump but after shutting it off, the noise was still there. So only thing left is my skimmer.

I was trying to think of what could be wrong but I can't think of anything. It still skims, very good as a matter of fact. So I took my finger and plugged the open air intake valve and the noise went away. Let it go and it came back. I have my aqua lifter in vinegar right now cleaning, should I take my skimmer pump off and run that in vinegar as well?

EDIT: It is a gargling noise.
