repairing skimmer ideas?
hello,
i went to fire up my reef octopus dual recirculating skimmer today, and found out that it is damaged. one of the ports that connects a recirculating pump to the body of the skimmer is broken. i hate to buy another skimmer when this one seems great, except for the broken port. i was wondering if anyone has any thoughts to attached the port again. maybe something to kind of weld it? jb weld? superglue then caulk? it's plastic on plastic, but it needs to be water tight and able to hold some weight, ie the pump. thoughts?
