yes it smears off quite easily what would you suggest I do?
I scraped some off the otherweek and it came right back a few days later |

What do you have for a CUC, Parameters, feeding schedule, and lighting duration???

few hermit crabs and a snail or two
paramaters always seem to be decent whenever we use the api test kit the lights are turned on and off manually - we try to have them on for only 6 hours each day once in awhile it will be left on for 8 hours - mh 150w is our bulb and we feed just once a day - sometimes twice if my wife thinks the fish look hungry >_< the tank temp the past 1.5 weeks has been between 77-81 but before that for a month or two it had been about 80-83 |

It's not cyano, and I have it on my back glass too. Not sure what type it is. I'm more interested in what looks to be the O.P's gold/yellow torch corals to the right side of the pic...

I had some algae issues also. Stopped using tap water and all cleared up

Say if it was my ro water causing problems, and I get good clean ro from lfs and do 50% water xhange , any idea how long it would take to be gone?
