LED Lights for a 70x40x40 Setup
I currently use T5 bulbs and thinking about going to LED lights, now my T5s life is ending. Which one is better? AI or Ecotech? How many modules should i use?

look at reefbreeders controllable fixtures. Ive had them on my 90 for over a year and am moving to a 180 within the next month. Plenty of light, dimmable, and great value for the money

Reef Breeders would be a good value for a tank that large, I'd also consider keeping a pair of T5 and running coral plus to supplement the led spectrum and help fill in an shadowed spots in a tank that size.
BuildmyLEDs would be another option that can cover a long deep tank and could possibly be mounted in the same spaces as your T5 if you don't want to switch over all at once get some of the actinic strips and keep your old white T5s until they burn out for spectrum fill. If your looking high end then the new Hydra 52, Gen 3 Radion, Pacific Sun, or Mitras. The latter two are better suited to large tanks. |
