Too hot??
Im in Melbourne Australia we are having some hot weather 45 degrees for the past 3 days my small tank 80L temp has hit 84 I have fish and coral also just set up a 180L but its only been up and running a week the temp is 80 my question is would it be bad to transfer my fish and coral over to the cooler tank my coral is looking not too flash my parameters in the new tank are all good but it has not cycled yet help!!!

84F is in the range of normal to the ocean although from my perspective undesirably high because dissolved oxygen also decreases. The coral would have no problem transferring.

It's hard for a lot of us to answer your question about issues you may or may not encounter with moving the livestock to the new tank. If the tank is cycled through or has had any other inhabitants in it to use as indicators then you can certainly make the call yourself. The warmer tank is not ideal for the long run but if this is just a short heatwave things may very well be fine and recuperate quickly when the temps drop back down.
