Anyone get snapped by a pistol shrimp?

If you got snapped at by a pistol shrimp (not mantis) and lived, please tell the tale!

I'm quite curious as to what would happen if a pistol shrimp actually snapped you.. if anyone actually did get snapped at... they're not really that threatening.. I don't hesitate to stick my finger in mine's burrow if I need too.

OR... any volunteers? Just kidding

I had about a 3.5 inch Bullseye pistol get me one day and it cut my finger open. He was big and bad though! Loved that shrimp, one of my and my families favorite inhabitants in our reef.

Snapped by a Randall's pistol a few times. It doesn't hurt, just startles. Too small to do much damage.

What do think, it hurt. Popped me hard ,felt the impact and then had a small 1/4 cut in my finger.
