killing off ugly brown polyps

I found to a good way to kill off these ugly brown polyps that r taking over my tank.I am cycling a 180 gal that I made a reef rock foam wall with.I used about 70 lbs of reef saver rock and I have just put my 2nd piece of cured live from my 72 gal tank rock that is covered in brown polyps. The polyps are gone from the first piece of rock already.I am into 5 days of my cycle but I still have to fiqure out to get rid of the rest of my polyps from the rock that has other corals on them.

If the polyps dies that fast aren't you a bit concerned that there is something else in the water that will still be in there and kill everything off that you put in there? My bet is you have something leaching out of the foam wall

I don't think so.I used the exact same epoxy numerous other people have on this site and cured for a week before adding water.
