As I read it, that's less about saving the GBR and more about hating "big coal" it was written by an environmental activist who is as willing to exaggerate, mislead, and outright lie as much as the "evil coal Barons" he's attacking.
It's a shame. The issue of dredging the GBR and dumping the soil may be a legitimate issue. But all the personal conjecture has detracted from the legitimacy of his claims. At least in my eyes anyway.
