Lighting ??

How do i know if I need to lower my t5 fixture. My tank is sps dominated but keep some zoas and a few chalices.

The reason I ask this is because my softys are not coloring up and some loosing color.

48" 6 bulb t5 fixture and it's 12" over water line.

Keep in mind that it could also be a water parameter issue and not light related in the least.

I really don't know the answer but I do not think lowering it will help.

I have had a 6 bulb ATI Powermodule and now have an 8 bulb and I have always had excellent success with SPS and not as much luck with LPS. I think it was too much light.
