quick seaweed question

I have read mixed thoughts on using nori for my tangs and angel fish. I have only bought it from the pet store, and at the rate they eat it, run out every week.

I have never bought it from a grocery store, do I look for just roasted nori?

Are they any other concerns or cons about using supermarket nori? Any comment about potential phosphate release? Thanks.

I have never used Petco nori. I have always used nori from a local Asian store. I get 100 sheets for less than $9. Lasts a very long time even if all my fish (except the mandarin) eat it. As to phosphate, all energy-producing organisms do have it.

I have been using roasted nori for years. Check the ingredient list to be sure.
