Aptasia or something else?
Just got some new live rock in and I can't seem to be able to identify this hitch hiker. They are in clusters the picture shows one closed and one open. The don't seem to have a stalk as I have seen in pictures of aptasia.
Any help with this is appreciated. |

It's a harmless coral. Phyllangia americana; cup coral. Very common hitchhiker on live rock.
