really cloudy water, but good parameters?

so for the past 2 weeks i have had extremely cloudy greenish water and it won't clear up. i bought some chemi-pure and some rowa phos phosphate remover about a week ago and it didn't help much but take care of my red slime problem. my parameters are good i just tested them again today and also i just bought some sachem Purigen and carbon. any ideas to what caused this and how to fix it it also smells fishy but nothing has died and i just cleaned the sand and there is this strange white build up on the glass

Carbon will help clear up green or yellowish water, it may even be bacterial.. But either way carbon should help. Filter socks help too!! :-)

If it's bacteria bloom, and it probably is, you can run UV sterilizer. It would most likely clear up the water very quickly. UV sterilizer is not a popular device in reef keeping but in situations like this it definitely help. If you can get one for a day or two it would be all you need.

You say the parameters are good. What is your definition of good? Can you share what they actually are? It might help.

If the problem is bacteria or a phytoplankton, the UV unit should clear it up quickly.
